About the Role
Texas Instruments is hiring Software Engineers to develop, integrate, and validate low-level embedded software modules for advanced automotive and industrial systems. The role involves designing Flash drivers, bootloaders, firmware components, and collaborating with hardware and SoC teams to build high-performance embedded solutions.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
2–5 years of embedded software development experience.
Strong programming skills in C and Assembly.
Knowledge of embedded firmware, Flash memory, Bootloaders, ROM, and Interrupts.
Understanding of UART, CAN, and I2C communication protocols.
Knowledge of software engineering best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Jenkins and Git.
Familiarity with AUTOSAR MCAL.
Knowledge of ARM or proprietary CPU architectures.
Experience with Static Analysis Tools, MISRA C, and Code Coverage.
Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
Develop Flash drivers and programming APIs.
Design Bootloaders for firmware and FOTA updates.
Develop Flash loaders for IDEs.
Build and maintain AUTOSAR Flash MCALs.
Support customer issues related to Flash software.
Deliver high-quality embedded software for MCU platforms.
Collaborate with hardware, SoC, and cross-functional engineering teams.
Prepare software documentation and design artifacts.
