About the Role
iTAS Innovations is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with hands-on experience in C programming, Linux internals, Embedded Linux, kernel-level programming and device driver development. The role involves designing, developing, testing and maintaining embedded firmware/software across multiple chipset variants and platforms.
Basic Qualifications
- 2–6 years of embedded software experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in C programming
- Experience with Linux internals
- Experience with Embedded Linux
- Experience with kernel-level programming
- Experience with device driver programming
- Experience with multithreading in Linux
- Ability to write thread-safe code
- Experience in network programming
- Knowledge of Linux filesystems
- Knowledge of memory management
- Knowledge of inter-process communication
- Experience with security testing
- B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech / MS in Engineering or Research
- CGPA 6.5 or higher
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multiple embedded processor/chipset platforms
- Experience with STM32, TI, NXP or Qualcomm processors
- Experience with static code analysis tools
- Experience working with open-source libraries
- Experience with embedded product development
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test and maintain embedded firmware/software
- Develop software for multiple chipset variants and platforms/boards
- Provide technical leadership to the development team
- Act as a technical interface with customers, platform and validation teams
- Triage software issues
- Debug and fix issues
- Develop high-quality firmware solutions
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Prepare technical documentation
