About the Role
Synopsys is hiring VLSI Microelectronics Interns to work on real-world semiconductor projects involving EDA tools, SoC and 3DIC design, silicon verification, testing, debugging, and system optimization. Interns will collaborate with engineering teams and gain hands-on experience with advanced semiconductor technologies.
Basic Qualifications
– M.Tech pursuing or completed in VLSI, Electronics, Microelectronics, or related field
– Strong understanding of VLSI and semiconductor fundamentals
– Good analytical and programming skills
– Strong verbal and written communication skills
– Passion for learning and technology
Preferred Qualifications
– Knowledge of Python, C++, MATLAB, or Embedded Systems
– Understanding of silicon verification and debugging
– Problem-solving and research skills
– Team collaboration and communication abilities
Responsibilities
– Work with VLSI application engineers on Synopsys EDA tools
– Assist in SoC and 3DIC verification and validation
– Perform testing and debugging of silicon chips and circuits
– Support semiconductor customers and software development teams
– Optimize electronic systems and solve technical challenges
– Document results and present project findings
