About the Role
Volvo Group is hiring a Graduate Apprentice Trainee for its Bangalore operations as part of its off campus drive. The role focuses on warehouse operations and Lean management, with an emphasis on data analysis, visualization, and process improvement across the shop floor.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• Fresher — no prior work experience required
Preferred Qualifications
• Academic projects or coursework related to data analytics, visualization, or process automation
Responsibilities
• Deploy digital team boards across the organization
• Deploy Cost Deployment and other Lean management tools at the shop floor
• Assist in developing and visualizing dashboards using Power BI
• Support warehouse operations through data analytics and reporting
• Work on process automation using PowerApps and Power Automate
Required Skills
• Working knowledge of Lean management principles
• Strong data analytical skills with visualization tools such as Power BI and PowerApps
• Proficiency in MS Office tools, including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Preferred Skills
• Hands-on exposure to Power BI, PowerApps, and Power Automate
• Prior academic or internship projects in data analytics, visualization, or process automation
