About the Role
Mindlabs is hiring a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded software for IoT products across ESP32, STM32, QuecOpen, and other MCU platforms. The role involves RTOS-based firmware development, networking, cloud connectivity, hardware integration, debugging, and supporting production-grade embedded systems.
Basic Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field
– 1–5 years of embedded software development experience
– Strong knowledge of Embedded C and RTOS
– Experience with ESP32 or STM32 platforms
– Knowledge of embedded communication interfaces
– Strong debugging and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
– Experience with Quectel QuecOpen, SIMCom OpenCPU, or Unisoc platforms
– Knowledge of FreeRTOS, ThreadX, or Zephyr
– Experience with IoT products and production firmware
– Familiarity with Embedded Linux
– Experience with CAN, Modbus, RS485, and industrial protocols
– Low-power IoT development experience
Responsibilities
– Design and develop embedded firmware for MCU platforms
– Build RTOS-based state machines
– Integrate sensors, peripherals, and communication modules
– Develop networking features using MQTT, HTTP, TCP/UDP, and TLS
– Work with hardware and cloud teams for product integration
– Debug firmware and board-level issues
– Support field testing and deployed devices
– Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and documentation
