About the Role
Silicon Labs is hiring Embedded Software Engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for Wi-Fi ICs and connectivity solutions. The role involves collaborating with hardware, architecture, and testing teams to deliver reliable, production-ready embedded software.
Basic Qualifications
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
– 2–6 years of embedded software development experience
– Strong programming skills in C/C++
– Experience with embedded debugging, validation, and unit testing
– Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and software development best practices
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
– Experience with Linux Kernel and device drivers
– Knowledge of Wi-Fi or networking protocols
– Experience with RTOS
– Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
– Experience using AI-powered development tools
Responsibilities
– Develop embedded software for Wi-Fi ICs
– Write unit and functional test cases
– Debug embedded software using JTAG, GDB, and logic analyzers
– Integrate software with hardware and protocol stacks
– Participate in code reviews
– Improve software quality and maintainability
